Our own nativity fun

A.k.A love creating fun visuals but this one was a little unusual for us, our client, well, it was….. us. We decided it would be really nice to create a short animation for the Christmas festivities. We worked many late evenings to get this one finished and it truly was a labour of love.

Our concept was akin to a mechanical jewellary box or traditional toy. We decided it would be fun to create a mechanised sequence that concludes with the unveiling of the nativity crib. In actual fact, the mechanism really would work, we designed it so that it could be created real world and all of the gears and cogs actually work correctly. At some point in the future we would love to get the elements 3D printed and put it together for real so, watch this space….
