Christopher Peterson was born in New York and after a while migrated to the West Coast which helped develop his artistic viewpoint. He is a member of the ASIP, a leading organization in the fight for copyright protection and a royalties collection society for artists. As well as a career as a commercial illustrator, Chris has taught illustration at both California College of Art and the Academy of Art College. Chris has created more then 80 posters or a variety of venues and bands. Paul McCartney, Phish, The String Cheese Incident, Sting, Eric Clapton, Robert Earl Keene, Elvis Costello, John Hiatt, Taj Mahal, Peter Frampton, Bonnie Raitt, Lou Reed, Gloria Estefan, Wilco, Willie Nelson and more. He also has original paintings hanging in the halls of the Pentagon - as a part of the US Air Force Art program. Rock and Roll to the Air Force is a pretty wide audience.
